LEUIE

The name Leuie is derived from the last three letters of Miguel, flipped in reverse. During high school football, there was an older player on the team already named Miguel. To avoid confusion on the field, he flipped his name to Leugim and ran with it for years, until peers playfully pronounced it "Loogie" (like the spitball). Refusing to be called Loogie, he shortened and refined the last three letters into the phonetically intuitive callsign that stuck permanently: Leuie. Recently, he also creates under the alias Basquiat, paying homage to the raw, unfiltered expression of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
